The Geography deptartment administers a GIS certificate and a GIS associates in Applied Science degree.

Partnerships - Resources - Technology: PPCC has joined with CSU-Ft. Collins, UCCS, and another community college for an ESRI site license that gives entire college access to all ESRI products; use ERDAS Imagine in remote sensing course; have selection of GPS tools – Garmin 76csx, Juno handhelds, and GEOxt from Trimble.

Interests: Recognizes GIS is a very important career and training area and want to make it available to as many students as possible. She also has been developing GIS career training – first as a certificate, and beginning this fall semester, as an associates in applied science.
